Vacation Bible School

Wow what a fantastic 1st day at Vacation Bible School !!!!!!!!

VBS got off to a good start with our very special guest the PES Sisters from Sioux Falls.  Sister Emily, Sister Lynn, and Sister Denise led the children  in song and prayer.

(PES stands for Two Pro Ecclesia Sancta) 

Day 2- We learned about the Monstrance used during Adoration and Jesus present in the Eucharist. “The Mass is a Gift” 

Day Three

Delilah and Charlie led the "Mass is a Celebration" skit.

Breanna helped kids demonstrate the virtue of unity.

Henry celebrated a birthday!

Jennings and Nathan served Father at the altar.

Anna and Dawson served as lectors at Mass.

Fr. Bill gives a final blessing.

Brenda helped the kids prepare for Mass.

Angels worked on quilt squares.

Snack time was a Super Sundae Celebration.

Day 4 of "The Mystery of the Mass" VBS at St. Margaret's church.

Helpers prepare fruit kabobs for snack.

Grace and Ava prepare their "Bread in a Bag" to give as a gift.

Audrey helps the youngest group, the Angels, play games using balloons.

We celebrated another birthday! Trayden turned 11! Buddies, Ty and George, are happy for him.

April, Rayna, and Kimber shared with us the clever "Sandwich Skit".

Breanna explains what it means to have faith, the virtue of the day.

Final day of VBS at St. Margaret's parish.

Older kids start off the morning with a skit about answering God's call.

5th and 6th graders made stained glass crosses with the help of Kayla and Rebecca.

1st and 2nd graders complete a scavenger's hunt of sacred objects in the church with leaders Sue and Mandy.

3rdh and 4th graders play shoe and water relays led by Helen and Audre.

"Altar Servers" (group name) can't wait to eat their "Light of the World" cupcakes.

The "Saints" also made their own "Light of hte World" cupcakes.

The "Angel" group are also excited about their cupcakes.
